Fashion Makes Me Happy: Cheap Sunglasses

My hand is twitching as I type this because I really really don't want to share this source, but that would be irresponsible and greedy of me (even as my mouse hovers over the delete button).

I love accessories because you can change up your old outfits a gazillion ways. My weaknesses especially are belts, gloves and sunglasses. I believe I hit the sunglass motherlode at the online shop 80s purple. They have hundreds of styles and colors for $10. 10 freakin' dollars! From classic retro wayfarers to oversized glamazons to mustachioed 70's porn star styles, and even a bunch of clear glasses so you can unleash your inner sexy librarian (or Malcolm X). They also carry an array of high end brands like Cazal and your usual luxury labels like Dior & Gucci. If their stock dwindles because you are buying them out, I will come to your house and hurt you.

Fashion Makes Me Happy

I stumbled upon this picture of this stylish gentleman from the last SXSW. His sharp look, perfectly accessorized with multi-layered necklaces, an unkempt beard, and of course, a Miller Lite, made me smile. I recalled an article I'd read on the emerging fashion scene that is the Coachella Music Fest. The article highlighted PYTs and celebs prancing around the desert in their coolest digs. Perhaps SXSW is the new Coachella?

Fashion Makes Me Happy

You know when you're going about your day, busily doing what you do, and you come across something that makes you smile or laugh out loud? Here's mine for today:

Not only is this a beautiful portrait but it's also a product shot for those gold vermeil earrings by the London-based jewelry label Macha. Their stuff is rad so stop by their etsy shop, thebeside, and check out their one of a kind proto samples and test pieces.

Fashion Makes Me Happy

I love a menswear inspired aesthetic but it is very hard to pull off well. This woman seen at Preen, looks so chic in baggy trousers, motorcycle boots, vest, fitted hooded jacket. If anyone knows who makes the pants, please email or post a reply! (Sartorialist for Style.com)

This outfit makes me so happy. The colorblock dress has great details like the clamshell sleeves and cute square neck. The cloth bag is the perfect accessory for the outfit and her pixie haircut is adorable. (Thanks, Copenhagen Street Style!)
